Gloss Levels & Stock Colors
Gloss Levels
Fine and rough textured finishes cannot be measured by gloss meter and are assessed visually.
Exterior Grade
Exterior‑grade powders are formulated with enhanced UV stabilizers and weathering resistance to withstand prolonged sun exposure, moisture, and temperature fluctuations. They are rated for outdoor use and can also be used in interior applications making them the most versatile option.
Interior Only
Interior‑grade powders deliver excellent finish quality and durability for indoor environments. However, they are not formulated to resist UV degradation or outdoor weathering. Using an interior‑only powder outdoors will result in premature fading, chalking, and loss of gloss.
Standard Stock Colors
Standard powder coating options — sorted by color family and filterable by use rating.
Color swatches are digital references only. Actual finishes may vary depending on substrate material and lighting conditions.
FAQs
Powder coating is a finishing process where a dry powder — made of resin, pigments, and additives — is electrostatically applied to metal surfaces and then cured under heat. This creates a smooth, durable, and protective finish that resists chipping, scratching, and corrosion better than traditional liquid paint. Because of its superior performance and versatility, powder coating is widely used across industries that demand durability and aesthetics. Common applications include aerospace, automotive, architectural, construction, industrial, consumer goods, and furniture for vibrant, long-lasting finishes. Wherever strength and visual appeal matter, powder coating is the preferred choice.
- Exceptional Durability: Resists chipping, scratching, and corrosion for long-lasting performance.
- Superior Finish Quality: Provides a smooth, uniform coating with vibrant color options.
- Eco-Friendly Process: Contains no solvents and produces minimal VOC emissions.
- Cost-Effective: Reduces waste and offers excellent coverage efficiency.
- Versatile Applications: Suitable for a wide range of metals and industries.
We provide an extensive selection of color options, including fully customizable shades to match your exact specifications. Choose from finishes such as matte, gloss, textured, or metallic to achieve the perfect look for your project. Our powder coating line accommodates parts of all shapes and sizes, from small brackets to large heavy-duty industrial frames. With an oven capacity of over 1,000 cubic feet, we can bring your smallest details and biggest ideas to life with a flawless powder coated finish.
We mask threads, tapped holes, and precision surfaces before coating to ensure a clean, functional finish. Powder in threaded areas can prevent proper fastener engagement, so we take care to protect any critical tolerances as specified. When submitting parts, simply let us know which holes and surfaces require masking, and we will make sure they stay clear and ready for assembly right out of the oven. We always automatically protect threads and tapped holes, unless otherwise instructed.
